Loft with tangent direction

Hello! I’ve been working on a 3matic script to generate lofted parts using two given surfaces. I noticed that the “direction” parameter is available in the Loft tool through the UI, but it doesn’t appear to be accessible via the MIS API.

My questions are:

  • Is there currently any way to replicate this behavior using MIS scripting?

  • And by any chance, is this expected to change or be included in future scripting updates?

Hi Agustin,

We update the API every year, we can add it as a suggestion for future releases. As a workaround, you could try to use the ‘sweep loft’ functionality instead.
